I am currently a Data Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Seattle, WA.
I recently moved from Sage Bionetworks where I focused on Neurofibromatosis research and building communities in rare disease. My postdoctoral training was in the Fraenkel Lab in the Department of Biological Engineering at MIT. In this postdoc I closely with the Sharp lab to study the impact of microRNA changes on global mRNA expression.

In my free time I enjoy downhill/backcountry skiing (I am a certified ski instructor and have also raced when I was in school), rock climbing, trail running, and practicing yoga. I used to be an avid ultimate frisbee player but now am too afraid of getting injured.
